Summary | 0017559: Copy & paste seems not working with frame object
Description | In recent SVN versions it seems that copy & paste of entire objects (image frame, text frame for example) doesn't work anymore. Nor using menu Edit - Copy ... Paste neither using keyboard shortcuts. On the other side copy & paste works with selected text inside a text frame. If this is not a bug rather a feature, i don't understand how to copy (clone) an object.

This should be a "bug" not "feature". However, I can confirm this happens. Copy pasting textframes is not working for me too. (1.7.1.svn on Fedora 42) |
|
On the other hand, Ctrl+D works while copy-pasting (which paste-in-place) does not. |
|
Thanks for the info, I'm changing a lot of the file load and saving code which also impacts copy/paste. I will test on current SVN and ensure it's working now. However, if you're using 1.7.1.svn for real work, I recommend you do not and go back to 1.7.0. |

The nightly appimae has the fix. |
