| Summary | 0017719: Binding assumed t be left and no others able to be set. | ||||
| Description | The assumption that binding will always be left and not change throughout the document is incorrect. Bindings may be on any edge and change on a page by page basis. The absolute minimal user story support is the ability to set bindings on a document level to be any edge. - International language support for right to left languages - | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Attempt to set up a document with anything other than left binding - not possible | ||||
| Additional Information | User stories that cannot be implemented without hacks in Scribus. 1) I want to produce a document that is for a right to left language. To do this I need to set the binding to the right side for the whole document 2) I want to produce a calendar that displays as 2 pages hung at the top. To do this I need to set the binging to the top for the whole document. 3) I want to produce a brochure that opens in with panels unfolding from a central page. To do this I need to set the binding on multiple sides on a per page basis. Design suggestion: allow any edge of a page to have a binding that can be enabled independently so a page can have multiple bindings. Expose this in the UI as binding setting at multiple levels, initially just at the whole document level. | ||||
