| Summary | 0017728: Ctrl-I from an image frame does not display JPEG files for selecting | ||||
| Description | A JPEG can be loaded by typing its name into the "File name" box of the "Open" dialog, or by dragging and dropping it from file manager. But it cannot be selected in the "Open" dialog because no JPEG images are shown unless "Files of type" is changed from "All Supported Formats" to "All files". | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Have available a directory including a JPEG image (and also, if possible, a PNG or BMP image) 2. Open a new Scribus document and draw an Image frame. 3. Use Ctrl-I (or "Content", "Get Image"); navigate the resulting "Open" dialog to the directory where your JPEG resides. 4. Note that your JPEG file is not shown for selecting. If you have PNG's or BMP's in there too, observe that they /are/ shown. 5. Change "Files of Type" to "All files" (which pull-down is curiously formatted BTW); now your JPEG will appear. | ||||
| Additional Information | This is an exact duplicate of 0017199 which was closed "Cannot reproduce". It happens all the time for me, both on 1.7.1svn and now 1.7.2 | ||||
