| Summary | 0017730: Move the "PDF Export" page selection out of the "Settings" area | ||||
| Description | While working on the "PDF Export" presets(0016257), we identified two main areas in the "PDF Export" dialog: - A top area that is specific to a single export process (file name) - A main multi tabbed area with settings that are worth to be stored in the presets. There is one exception: the Page selection is in the lower area, but it does not belong in the presets (it is also not stored in the Document Setup) My suggestion: - Move the page selection just below the output file name - Move the "Output one file for each page" option to the General or Extras tab (and stored in the presets) - Make the "Open PDF after export" an action (a "Save and open" button... or simply "Open") or an option in the lower area with the "Save" and "Cancel" buttons (not stored in the presets) | ||||
