| Summary | 0017735: Cannot delete gradient color stops | ||||
| Description | I am testing on the 1.7.2 appimage, so I cannot verify if this is an appimage issue or a 1.7.2 issue generally on Linux Mint. If I make an object and give it a gradient fill or apply a gradient mask, I can create additional color stops in the gradient by clicking on the gradient bar. I can select each color stop by clicking on them. However, right clicking does nothing. Because of this, I cannot get to the "delete color stop" menu. There's also no way I can find to reset the gradient, so if I add an unwanted color stop there's no way to get rid of it at all, short drastic measures like using "copy item properties" to copy over a fill from another object. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | - Create an object - Apply either a mask or fill to that object with a gradient; add at least 1 additional color stop - Attempt to right click on the color stop to access the delete stop menu | ||||

usually you should be able to remove gradient stops by pulling them away from the definition field for the gradient. with scribus 1.7.2 on mac os it works – doesn't this work with the appimage version? |

Thanks utnik - clicking and dragging them off the definition field does work. I'd never known that was an option and had always used the right click > remove stop menu. |
