Summary0017739: Font Substitutions in Document Setup do not save
DescriptionIf a document has existing font substitutions, it looks like you can change them using the menu at Document Setup > Fonts > Font Substitutions. But the selections you make in this menu are never saved. Even if you just close Document Setup and immediately reopen it, the changes you selected are deleted.

It appears the only valid way to make font substitutions is in Preferences; anything saved in Preferences immediately overwrites the Document Setup options.

It's unclear to me if the intent is that this should always be changed in Preferences (in which case the Document Setup menu should be removed) or if there's a bug preventing the Document Setup settings from being retained. Personally, per document substitutions (to use the main font for the document) would be very useful for my workflow.
Steps To Reproduce- Make a new Scribus file. If you have never needed font substitutions, import any html document to initialize the bold/italic/bold italic substitutes.
- Open Document Setup > Fonts > Font Substitutions. Change one of the existing substitutes to a new font.
- Click okay
- Reopen Document Setup; confirm that the changes you just made have disappeared

to actually change the substitutes:
- Open Preferences > Fonts > Font Substitutions. Change one of the existing substitutes to a new font.
- Click okay
- Open Document Setup; the change you made in preferences has overwritten the settings in Document Setup
Additional InformationA friend who uses 1.6.5 but doesn't have a Mantis account referred this to me; I double checked on my 1.7.2 appimage and had the same issue.
