| Summary | 0017768: "Align Suffix" option for Numbered Lists | ||||
| Description | I request the feature to have an "align suffix" option for Numbered Lists. Not only would it help the regular lists but TOCs as well. Currently, TOCs as numbered lists align to the very left as normal text, which makes it look off because single numbers (1-9) and double (10 and up) do not align in the list. Having the option to align the suffix would be a huge improvement to make TOCs visually appealing. Kindly, check the attached image. | ||||
| Additional Information | The attached image: 1. When creating a paragraph-style-based TOC, H1 does not inherit its paragraph style when it appears in the "TOC" text-frame as the generated TOC is a brand new text. 2. So, here are paragraph styles to format the generated TOC. 3. TOC_H1 paragraph style handles H1 when it is listed in TOC, and TOC_H2 handles H2. 4. A screenshot in the image, the one with the red border is an example of what a suffix-aligned TOC would look like. | ||||
