| Summary | 0017793: "Unlink text and cut text" processes "invisible" text | ||||
| Description | - Create a multiple pages document - Load a big text file into a new full page text frame - Chain the text to a new full page text frame on the next page (that's fast! nice!) - Select both text frame and trigger "Unlink text and cut text" - Wait for a long time. Scribus theoretically has not much work to do, but it seems to do lot of processing work to process text that is not been shown (it takes several minutes on Frankestein from the Project Gutenberg) | ||||

Its immediate here |

You're right. With the latest 1.7 Appimage it's much faster (I would not call it immediate, but it's only a few seconds). I'm trying to find out, if I have local changes that can explain the difference. |
