| Summary | 0017797: Text frames flicker | ||||
| Description | Hi, Both on versions 1.6.5 and 1.7.3, I've noticed today that, when I type some text into a text frame, both the text and the frame itself flicker. I’ve been unable to determine when this happens, but it does happen quite often. As far as I have seen, it happens the first time to run Scribus, create a document and add a text frame. Then there’s a moment when it stops happening. I’ve also noticed that there’s a double line around the top and left side of the text frame, which might have something to do with the issue, because when the issue is gone, there’s no double line. I can’t remember seeing this issue in earlier versions, but I’m not sure. Thanks for looking into it. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Open a new document. 2. Add a text frame. 3. Type text into the text frame. | ||||

"the first time to run" > "the first time you run" [Sorry about the typo.] |

Another typo: it's 1.6.6, not 1.6.5. Sorry about that. I was referring to the versions released at the same time a few days ago. |

I can confirm that I have already seen this issue... but I've somehow tried to ignore it. I will try to keep an eye on it and if it happens again to me. |
