| Description | This is my first time using Scribus for editorial design, and I'm very happy with it. I really liked it; I was able to resolve practically everything. However, there was one issue I couldn't resolve, and I think it's important. I created a catalog of works with many high-quality photos and decided to divide the document into three parts to manage it. Since it was my first time using Scribus, I wasn't sure if it would crash due to the file size. Dividing it caused a problem with the pagination. I would have liked to be able to work with the document in sections like books in InDesign, but I was able to resolve the pagination issue in a different way, using three separate numbering systems. But the reason I'm here is because I had hundreds of RGB images that I had to convert to CMYK to send the file to a publisher. But since we're interested in a digital catalog, now I have to convert the images back to RGB. Would it be possible in a later version for Scribus to automatically convert images from RGB to CMYK and vice versa when choosing between output to screen or printer? | ||||

Scribus already does it automatically when exporting. When exporting to PDF and printer target, just avoid using the "Use Profiles" options in color tab, they are specifically designed to keep RGB colors as is for separation on the printer RIP software. |
