| Summary | 0017893: Pasting tables from LibreOffice not always pastes as tables | ||||
| Description | - If I create a table and activate it, I can paste the LibreOffice (Writer or Calc) table as a table. - If no item is selected, the table is pasted (at a wrong location outside of the page) as a vector. I think that there should be a way to choose the way the table is pasted into Scribus. Not sure, if I would prefer two different commands or a popup that asks what Scribus should do with the new content. | ||||

You have to have a table drawn in Scribus and you should be inside it (cursor) only then the table copied from LO is pasted. This is a very obscure way I did not know about. I just learnt that yesterday when you mentioned this in your forum post where you pasted the table screenshots you asked for. I think tables copied from LO should paste directly in Scribus without first drawing a table on the page. |

Works! Thanks @cbradney. I can direclty paste table copied from LO, without first drawing a table frame in Scribus. Testing more. |
