|0004899||Scribus||User Interface||public||2006-12-19 13:11||2019-01-18 14:13|
|Platform||x86||OS||Linux||OS Version||SuSE 10.1|
|Summary||0004899: Zoom focuses only on items, not on pages|
|Description||If an item on a page is selected, zoom will focus on this item, but if a page is selected, the selection is ignored.|
||The same goes for the cursor in a text frame.|
||zoom to cursor in text is 0003858|
Tested Linux Mint 19.1; r22809
This problem can't be reproduce anymore. The Scribus works well (thank goodness).
Anyone else retest?
jghali has commited some changes relating to this issue (r22801), but AFAIK he later reverted some changes (r22808). Hence, behaviour probably depends on what specific version you are testing.
On my side, with today version r22597 dating 2018 07 10 (not uptodate !)
on a 10 pages document, when there is no object selected but a page selected, zoom happens toward mouse pointer position.
When selected page is 10 but mouse points toward page 2, zoom zooms toward p.2
This is not too bad. I'm not sure zooming to selected page would be an improvement over zooming to mouse pointed page.
