Summary | 0005420: Print Driver Preferences
Description | Scribus seems unable to remember the printing settings for CUPS. Every time I print a document with duplex, I have to select again all the printing values in the settings page, even as the correct values are displayed, they do not take effect unless I select again. When I close the program and open it again, I pull a document up and see the printing settings as set before, but if I send it to the printer, it prints without the features as selected. I then have to re-select everything. Additionally, some color related settings are appearing three times in the print options window.
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Open document 2. Select duplex 3. print 4. close document 5. open document 6. verify print settings (duplex OK) 7. print (Prints no duplex)

There are issues with CUPS 1.1.x and duplexing which were not fixed until CUPS 1.2. This very well might come into play. I had similar issues with CUPS 1.1.x on a Fiery with duplexing, but were never resolved. I have yet to test this with CUPS 1.2.x, which comes with Suse 10.2 |
