Summary | 0006121: impossible to vertical arrange text in a box and propositions
Description | I would be fine if scribus could permit to determine the vertical position of a text in a box (top, bottom center). By the way, would be good if the text panel with manuel editing could work fine. Currently, it is simpler to launch always the story editor in place of panel that does apparently nothing. Could you make it automatic? Double click on text box should in this case launch the story editor. But for titles, it is an overkill. I prefer the quarkxpress way: a small context sensitive panel with a lot of options. The scribus panel is somewhat stupid: if I choose an other box, it returns always to the x,y,z submenu and does not memorize the submenu I choosed for that box. Maybe it sould offer basic things as position, characters (for text) etc + a button to launch a more sophisticated configuration panel as the story editor.
