Summary | 0008704: Changing Font Family for a Text Frame should not change Font Style as well
Description | If a Font Family is changed for an entire text frame, which contains words that have different Font Syles (Bold, etc), the Font Style is also reset to Regular - regardless of whether Font Style is changed too.
Steps To Reproduce | Draw a text frame Type several words within that frame Make every other word Bold Click off, then back on the text frame to select the entire text frame Change the Font Family to something else Note all text styles within that frame are also reset (Bold is reset to Regular, etc)
Additional Information | I don't think it is logical to reset the Font Style when only the Font Family is changed for a text area. Only if I change the Font Style too should this happen. If the Font Style that was used for individual words is available within the new Font Family, then this formatting should be retained.
