Summary | 0009340: Images are not cut to displayed selection when exported to pdf
Description | Images that are included to the document via an image frame may be lager than the frame. Scribus allows to fit the image to the frame OR to zoom the image and thereby cut the image. Then, only the part within the image frame is visible in the scribus document. BUG: If the document is exported to a PDF file, the ENTIRE image is included in that file. Though only the part of the image within the frame is visible in the PDF it is possible to select the entire image (by clicking it in the PDF viewer). After copying to the clipboard and pasting anywhere else, the entire image is visible.
Steps To Reproduce | * Create imgae frame in a document * Load image to the frame * Adjust image by zooming it so that you can see a selection in the frame * export to PDF * open PDF * Click on the image (select it) * Copy * Paste in another programm that is capable to handle images
