Summary | 0009595: Changing page size on a master page doesn’t affect pages on which the master page is applied
Description | Imagine you have an A4 document and you change a master page to A5. On screen the A5 page will be displayed the same size as A4. Strangely this doesn't happen when the page size is changed directly from Page>Page properties. It appears the same trouble happen for page orientation too. Edit: Issue reiterated: "Changing page size on a master page doesn’t affect pages on which the master page is applied." I can understand it is working like this but would it be what a user expect, particularly when using scribus for presentations. The user may have master page for each screen resolution or ratio. Even for printing, master page could be a way to store page format in some kind of documents.

Hum, would better to sum up like this : "changing page size on a master page don’t affect pages on which the master page is applied." I can understand it is working like this but would it be what a user expect, particularly when using scribus for presentations. The user may have master page for each screen resolution or ratio. Even for printing, master page could be a way to store page format in some kind of documents. |
