Summary0013333: Preflight giving me font error when I hyperlink
DescriptionI just started using Scribus 1.4.5. Today a made a hyperlink by putting a rectangle around some text in my document. I have used Times throughout the document. When I pressed the button for a preflight check it said "Annotation uses a non TrueType font" which I know I didn't do.

As an experiment, I opened up a fresh document, just put a hyperlink box on the empty page without even putting a link in and did preflight again and I got exactly the same message about Annotation uses a non TrueType font. The best I can make out, the hyperlink box itself is generating the error.

Is this a known issue? Is there any workaround to this? Would it be safe to send a PDF to a printer if this message keeps popping up?

The PDF would be going both on the web and printed so I would like to include the hyperlinks.

Thanks.

Annotations need to use 1 of 14 standard TrueType fonts if exporting to PDF 1.3:
Standard Type 1 Fonts (Standard 14 Fonts)[edit]
Fourteen typefaces, known as the standard 14 fonts, have a special significance in PDF documents:

Times (v3) (in regular, italic, bold, and bold italic)
Courier (in regular, oblique, bold and bold oblique)
Helvetica (v3) (in regular, oblique, bold and bold oblique)
Symbol
Zapf Dingbats
These fonts are sometimes called the base fourteen fonts.[57] These fonts, or suitable substitute fonts with the same metrics, must always be available in all PDF readers and so need not be embedded in a PDF.[58] PDF viewers must know about the metrics of these fonts. Other fonts may be substituted if they are not embedded in a PDF.

If exporting to PDF 1.4+, you can use any truetype font. Make sure you are using a TrueType font. Times is not provided with Windows, only Times New Roman, so you need to be exact with a response about what you are using.
