Summary0013207: Story Editor loses text on Scribus 1.4.2
DescriptionI find that if my document is long (for me, roughly 300 pages was enough), Story Editor takes a while to load when I click a specific spot deep within the document (page 200 or higher should do the trick). If Story Editor slows down at all, the entire Scribus window turns gray. After the loading is finished, Story Editor appears to work properly, but if I scroll to the bottom of the Story Editor, I will find that about 90% of the text in the document has been lost. To bring the text back requires that I close Story Editor, then reopen it. Of course, the same problem is likely to happen because I'm opening Story Editor on the same computer with the same document.

Thus, I enter a kind of loop:
1. Open Story Editor
2. Attempt to place cursor at a spot deep within the document
3. Attempt to edit a word if Story Editor hasn't temporarily frozen yet
4. Story Editor freezes
5. Story Editor unfreezes, but most text is gone
6. Close story editor
7. Repeat 1-6

The only way to get out of this problem is to be lucky enough to complete the edit in Story Editor before it freezes. Once it freezes, I am guaranteed to lose that text.
Steps To Reproduce1. Open Story Editor
2. Attempt to place cursor at a spot deep within the document
3. Attempt to edit a word if Story Editor hasn't temporarily frozen yet
4. Story Editor freezes
5. Story Editor unfreezes, but most text is gone
6. Close story editor
7. Repeat 1-6

This may have to do with 0002438 "Cases of extreme memory use" in that case you may need to break your document up in to smaller chunks. First test it on the latest stable Scribus to see if you can reproduce. Or you can post the sla here and we can mark the bug private and test it for you.
