Summary0006159: Scribus 1.3.4 "Word Tracking" and "Glyph Extension" custom settings overridden upon re-selection of frame
DescriptionScribus 1.3.4 "Word Tracking" and "Glyph Extension" user-altered settings revert back to default values upon re-selection of the text frame with the Selection tool.
Steps To Reproduce1. Select a text frame with the Selection tool, open the Properties window and change the "Word Tracking" and "Glyph Extension" values. Observe that the word spacing and line breaks have indeed changed.

2. Deselect the text frame by selecting something other than the text frame you just modified (clicking on a blank area of the document page will do).

3. With the Selection tool, reselect the text frame from Step 1.

4. Upon re-selection, you can observe the text in the frame change (line breaks and word spacing) back to the default. When you open up the Properties window on that frame again, you can see that the values for "Word Tracking" and "Glyph Extension" are back at their default values, replacing your custom values.
Additional InformationThe only workaround I've found is to absolutely not interact with a text frame after you've customized the word tracking or glyph extension. Any attempt to re-select (say, for positioning or rotating) a text frame so customized will result in your user-defined tracking and extenstion values being reverted back to the defaults.

I'm primarily using OpenType fonts but this also happens with frames of text using TrueType and Postscript Type 1 fonts. NOTE that I'm also using Craig Drummond's Pre-KDE4 "kfontinst" KDE font installer/manager with my KDE 3.5.7 environment. When time permits I'll reinstall the stock 3.5.7 font manager and check for the bug.
