Summary0011447: Creating own colour palette does not work.
DescriptionWhen I choose Colours... in the menu «Bearbeiten» (second from left) and click on Colours... the possible bars to do actions are greyed out. This was not so in previous editions and should be corrected as soon as possible. It is a very helpful tool to ease the workflow and helps to avoid errors while working for different clients at same time. This bug is just in the new version, as I used it quite often. I made my upgrade on the 27th February.

Unfortunately unable to reproduce on Windows or Ubuntu 12.10.

If you have no document open, you cannot edit a palette unless you save it under a different name first. These palettes are protected for good reasons.

Sorry, Christoph, but until recently it was possible. And if your saying would be true, why are then the 5 option greyed out? Why are they there at all? When I am in a document, the same place looks very different. And I do NOT, repeat NOT want to edit palettes, but to make new ones or import other ones suiting my needs. In the above pictured window are all buttons to do exactly what I would like to do again.

I've checked with 1.4.1 on Windows, and you're right that it works as described by you, but that may be due to other permission patterns. Maybe Jean can tell if the behaviour has changed in 1.4.3svn for Windows. On Linux the "Import" option is greyed out in 1.4.3svn, and it should be available on the condition that imported swatches are being stored in ~./scribus/swatches. Otherise, having the import option disabled makes sense.

Arran, is this still reproducible for you with current stable or dev builds ?
