Summary0011703: Please, some leading and paragraph alignment for typography's sake.
DescriptionSelection-based leading adjustment—the space between separate, adjacent, consecutive lines of text residing in the same text box—is conspicuously missing. This is vital to page and layout designers like myself, who'd remember when Quark came on floppy and InDesign was the 'new kid on the block.' Scribus has been missing this for quite some time. I'd love to see it happen before I get much older.

Also, I recall the nifty feature that, when the cursor is placed at the beginning indented first line of a paragraph, keying Ctrl+| served to left-align the rest of the paragraph to the original indent. This is also rather indispensable to a page designer's standard toolkit. I'd love to see some implementation of this too.

Please...and thank you.

I've been successfully adjusting leading via the pt up/down input field next to the Linespacing dropdown in Text section of the Properties Palette - it works with arbitrary lines and leading size within the same Frame.

I'm using 1.5.0svn in Xubuntu 14.04.
