|Summary||0014438: Icons too big on non HiDPI screen|
|Description||On my "old" desktop PC I hadn't used for about a month, scribus suddenly appeared as on the attached screencap, making it hardly useable... After some trials and errors, I figured out it would look normal when using QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=0.5 scribus-trunk|
As I had just updated to Ubuntu 16.10 from 16.04 I don't know who's the culprit but as far as I can tell, Scribus is the only app to behave that way...
How you installed Scribus?
Can you please specify what Window Manager you are using?
What revision of Scribus SVN are you using?
What version of Qt 5 are you using?
Installed from https://launchpad.net/~scribus/+archive/ubuntu/ppa
Gnome Shell 3.20.4-0ubuntu2
One year later, the problem is still there, but the working env is QT_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTORS=0.5 (it should actually be 0.31 but this brings other problems)
It's obviously related to the bulls*t my screen says about it's size (160mm×90mm instead of 20in×11¼in) but still, Scribus is the only app doing this...
