Summary | 0014438: Icons too big on non HiDPI screen
Description | On my "old" desktop PC I hadn't used for about a month, scribus suddenly appeared as on the attached screencap, making it hardly useable... After some trials and errors, I figured out it would look normal when using QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=0.5 scribus-trunk As I had just updated to Ubuntu 16.10 from 16.04 I don't know who's the culprit but as far as I can tell, Scribus is the only app to behave that way...

Questions: How you installed Scribus? Can you please specify what Window Manager you are using? What revision of Scribus SVN are you using? What version of Qt 5 are you using? |
|
Installed from https://launchpad.net/~scribus/+archive/ubuntu/ppa Gnome Shell 3.20.4-0ubuntu2 rev21621 Qt 5.6.1 |

One year later, the problem is still there, but the working env is QT_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTORS=0.5 (it should actually be 0.31 but this brings other problems) It's obviously related to the bulls*t my screen says about it's size (160mm×90mm instead of 20in×11¼in) but still, Scribus is the only app doing this... |
