Unable to reproduce. Works here on Windows. |
may be linux only problem. |
I tried current 1.5.6.svn code in an Ubuntu 19.04 VM, works too. |
I tried in an Ubuntu 18.04 VM, also works here. |
Tested in Linux Mint 19.x (the Scribus is installed version and not appimage!), also works here. |
For information, my test on Ubuntu 18.04 involved the AppImage and it worked. |

I've got the problem. It is because of the language. I've changed formats to my local in Ubuntu from Ubuntu Gnome Regional and Language Settings. This is why some of the numerical values shows in local language. But in other apps, (like QGIS), I just type number in the value with other digits. Eg: ১২০০ = 1200 , so if I mark or delete ২ (2) and type 1 there (in English), it will be ১1০০ , after pressing Enter, which will automatically show as ১১০০ means 1100. But In Scribus the values (not all values) which are showing in local language, I have to type whole digits as English, then pressing Enter, then it works and shows as local language. Even typing the whole value in local language not works. |
