Summary0017392: Alignment should respect page height (be anchored on page)
DescriptionAlignment of elements on a page should be anchored on the page they are on.
Of course, when changing the page size afterwards, you WILL have to touch your elements to fit your new dimensions. But this should be possible page by page.
Currently the elements position seems to be a global axis, so when changing the pages' height, misalignment propagates downwards, see "Steps to Reproduce" and "Screenshots".
While with just a few pages or with just a small adjustment to page size this may be still fine, as soon as you have many pages with a substantial change in page height, this gets totally out of hand, as when working down the page stack you end up with overlapping elements (in case of increased page height).

IDK if "elements" is the correct wording, I mean anything you can put on a page: textframes, imageframes...
Steps To Reproduce1) Create new file
2) Add add least 1 page (so you have at least 2)
3) Add textframes to those pages
4) Go to master page
5) Change height (to lets say 50%) in page properties
6) Go back to document
See? Everything is still the same position in the global universe :)

Having the pages displayed in Scribus GUI vertically from top to bottom is just a practical choice. It should not fall back on how editing instructions behave. Just imagine pages in Scribus GUI would be displayed from left to right (I don't talk about 'facing' pages) in a long horizontal way. Then changes in page height would be fine. (But then, with the current system, changes in page width would be the problem.)

Expected would be to have elements on a page anchored to that page.
That could be (0, 0) of the page, or even better: specify anchor point in master page!
With the latter you could easily apply minor changes in margin etc.
Additional InformationYeah, "you are holding it wrong!". I know. But this is counterintuitive, even more, it's illogical from a user's point of view. Of course, it's totally clear from whre this originates from a developer's point of view. But the application is made for users after all?
