Summary | 0005097: rotate internal reference angle of frame without rotating frame
Description | The "reference angle" of a frame determines the orientation of its bounding box and the angle of text flow for text frames. It could be nice to change this angle or reset it to that of the page without changing the physical appearance of the frame on the canvas. Especially for changing the angle of text in a frame or for flow around a shape's bounding box at different angles. See doc.
Additional Information | Technically, you can already do this, but it's hard--you have to edit the frame shape, rotate it, then go back to properties and perform the opposite rotation there to make the frame look the same on the page. I did this to set the text angle and the bounding box of the arrow in the attached document.
