Summary0007080: Support for xml:lang when importing Text from XML files
DescriptionIf I have different languages and writing systems in a text file, a plain text file as the source of importing the text won’t do the job.

For example, I have a text which has a mixed text in English, German, German Blackletter and Chinese.

English and German won’t be a problem, because you can use the same font for it. Chinese needs a different font, but at least it has seperate code points.
But Blackletter does not have seperate fonts.

In HTML, i would do this this way:

<p xml:lang="en">This is english <span xml:lang="de">und das Deutsch</span>, <span xml:lang="de-Latf">Das ist Deut?ch in Fraktur</span>, <span="zh-Hant">????</span>

and he would select the appropriate fonts.

If i import a text file in Scribus, I would have to select for each word a appropriate font or character style.

What if Scribus could do the same? Either, I think it would be good if Scribus would offer a standard XML schema, which offers the markup features needed for typography (font, font size, and so on; maybe like HTML); or the user could write his own xml file and define, which tags are which actions in Scribus. I think, the first one would be easier.

Also, this would be great because Scribus would then know which different hyphenation rules are to be applied.
