Summary | 0007426: TOC order per page not manipulable
Description | If there are multiple TOC entries on one page, then their order in the TOC depends on the sequence of the text frame creation. If the frames (the chapters) are moved, the order in the TOC stays the sames. Even if the name of the text frame is changed, the order is not changed. The order of the TOC entries can only be influenced by Cut/Paste the text frame and re-add an attribute. I would have expected that the name of the text frame or an attribute parameter would influence the order of the TOC entries
Steps To Reproduce | -Create new file -Create an attribute (e.g. IVZ) in Datei/Dokument Einrichten/Eigenschaften -Create three text frames -Change the name of one of the frames to "Content" -Add attribute "IVC" to the other two frames -Prepare TOC: Datei/Dokument Einrichten/Inhaltsverzeichnis, add object=IVZ and target frame = content -Extras/Inhaltsverzeichnis erstellen -Now, shift text frames up and down, change name or change parameters -Repeat Extras/Inhaltsverzeichnis: still the same. -Cut frame one and paste it. Add again attribute "IVC" ->now the TOC is changed.
Additional Information | Suggestion Use an attribute parameter to influence the order of the TOC entries.
