Tested with png and bmp, same result with both.

I have this same problem (Mandrake 10.1, gulus urpmi 1.2.1) with any image type I try to export. I need to be able to export to very large TIFF files to use on a ColorSpan Plotter (72in wide paper at 300dpi). Unfortunately I couldn't get this to happen. Workaround was to export to EPS and use pstopnm and pnmtotiff (the images are way too big to load into Gimp on my 512MB computer).

Export as image is designed for screenshots mainly and needs some work to handle full DPI export.

If I create portrait A4 page (595x842 pt). Then I export it into png file (300dpi, 100% quality, 100% size). It's image (opened in GIMP) with 595x842px, 300dpi.

Backward import into scribus image frame shows the same characteristics.

Am I missing something important?

I tried this on my Ubuntu box at work with 1.2.1cvs (build-ID 26) and it worked fine exporting to PPM. Must be something to do with the gulus urpmi 1.2.1 build.

Checked agin with a freshly buitl Scribus 1.2.1.
A 409.998 (i'm pretty sure i typed in 410) x 273 mm page, with several image frames on it , exported with 300 dpi, ends up in Gimp with 65.53 x 43.52 mm. Landscape, PNG, Size was 100%.

Can you check if is this bug presented still, please?
I cannot reproduce it on 1.3.0cvs box and 1.2.2cvs too.
