Summary0010755: find a friendly way to let the user recreate the preferences
Descriptionsince from time to time the scribus preferences tend to become corrupted, there should be a friendly and cross platform way to fully reset the preferences.

since i have no corrupted preferences at hand i can't judge the "defaults" button in file > preferences is enough for resetting them.

if you know that it is enough (and you're sure that this button can be reached in any case), please close this bug report.

if not, i think that the easiest way would to have a switch at boot or -- even better -- make sure that this button can always be reached and make it really reset the preferences!

In 1.4.0, the defaults button calls prefsManager->initDefaults(); so it should work. In any case, the prefs should never become corrupted.

I'll add the function to 1.5.0, looks like I missed that.
