Summary | 0011128: Problem importing .ai files in Linux
Description | I have run into a problem with Scribus when importing .ai files. Specifically, these problems only happen on Linux (Arch Linux), as I am perfectly able to import the same .ai file on Windows. I have tried both opening the .ai file directly, as well as importing it into an existing document. Both, however, spawn the error "The file could not be imported".
Steps To Reproduce | Try to open or import an .ai file on Linux.

|
Tried it under OpenSuse 11.3 and it works perfectly. |
|
That means the Arch packager for Scribus has not compiled it with libpodofo support. That library is required for importing pdf based Illustrator Files. |
