Summary0011410: bullets from different font don't survive restart
Descriptionwhen designing a paragraph style with bullets, bullets that are chosen from another font (like a symbol font) are not shown. I have to manually assign the other font to the single bullets. This formatting also is lost when restarting scribus (probably because the bullets get redrawn).
Steps To ReproduceCreate a paragraph style with bullets enabled
chose a bullet from a different font
create list and assign the style

Yep... opening Character Palette should not allow to choose different font than is used in character style.

So that means using bullets from different fonts would not be possible in future svns? And if I would like to use a different symbol I would need to create the list by hand as in previous versions?

This looks related :

I created "ding" character style that uses "wingdings" font

I created a paragraph style and specified that the bullets should use "ding" styles.

So as to choose the bullet glyph, i click the character palette button.
The wingdings charset is opened and proposed for choice : fine !

I choose the desired glyph, click INSERT

The glyph is inserted in the paragraph style dialog, but displays as a blank square -> the choosen style for the bullets should be applied there, or at least the font of the chosen style.
+
When the style is used in the document, the bullet is displayed on the canvas as a square too -> the choosen style for the bullet is not applied.

+
scribus hangs some time later.

Scribus really should consistently allow for bullets from other fonts to be used. There so many useful "...ding"-type fonts out there.

Cannot reproduce in January 14 build on Fedora 20.
