Its doing as intended.. why would you want to add sample text to the end of real text and possibly add in text you forget to change in the future?

well i have felt this feature would be usefull some times when i begin to type some real text and have it layed out and i want to see how it will look when the whole text will be readyly writen. I want to add false text without deleting existing layed out text.

Beside, in all other scribus or any software contexts, "Insert" is not "replace" and with "insert", the existing text/object is usualy safe : something will be added to it, in the middle of it. When "insert" replaces=kills the current text in one place, then the user can not trust the proposed wordings of the actions. This raises the stress and the unsecurity feeling and should be avoided.
An alternative to adding the "real insert" option would have been to rename the option. For example, removing the "Insert" and leave the "False text" as an option's label would have improved the consistancy.

This new feature introduces an Undo/Redo issue.
The following steps are tested with Scribus 1.5.0 SVN (19130)

Steps:
0) Create a new document and open Windows > Action History
1) Insert a Text Frame
2) Type some text in the Text Frame
3) Right-click > Sample Text and select "Append to existing text"

4-A) Undo once (TextX - Insert text):
The Text Frame is empty, it should contain user typed text

4-B) Undo twice, Redo once (TextX - Insert text):
Correct (should be the same in 4-A)

4-C) Undo to Inital State, Redo to Add Lorem Ipsum:
User typed text is moved after the Sample Text

Scribus 1.5.0 SVN (19131): cannot reproduce the issue reported in my previous note (31899), works as expected.
