Summary | 0002582: Snap to guides doesn't pick closest guide
Description | Snap to guides seems to pick the first guide that's close enough, not the closest guide if there are several close.
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Create two vertical guides, 10 points from each other, say at offset 200 pt and 210 pt from the left. 2. Turn on Snap to Guides 3. Draw a text box and fill it with text. 4. Move the text box to try to make it snap to the second guide. 5. Notice that it's almost impossible -- it'll prefer to snap to the leftmost guide. It needs to snap to the closest guide, not the first close-enough guide it finds.

Seems to work OK here with 1.2.4cvs. Note the snapping distance is set in preferences, which can affect this behavior. |
|
If the left guide is less than the snap distance from the second guide, it will snap then resnap to the left one. |
