Summary | 0003895: Use name of color from palette
Description | When creating a new color, a name of a color from existing palette should be automatically used instead of default "New color" on Click event in ListBox with colors. Thus a new color would inherit not only the color, but its name as well.

What if the user types in a colour name and then selects the colour from the list? |
Good point! Let's have a "Copy name" button then. |
TBH, sounds like a shot in the dark.. and does not sound better than the current situation. |
I don't see any advantage here either. And alexandre, btw, there is already a "Duplicate" button for colours. Wouldn't your suggestion be redundant and confusing? |
No because he's importing colours from other swatches so it is a valid request. |
