Summary | 0005048: Importing PS created with pdf2ps fills user home directory with TIF files
Description | Importing an Postscript file created by pdf2ps of a PDF exported from Openoffice.org 2 Writer fills my home directory with TIF files. It seems that pdf2ps just won't work decently creating usable PS files, but I think it's not nice of Scribus to put all the files to user home dir. In my opinion it should put the files to /tmp .
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Open the attached ODT file 2. Export the ODT to PDF with Openoffice.org Writer 2 3. Run "pdf2ps file.pdf file.ps" 4. Try to import file.ps to a Scribus document 5. Check your home directory

Yes, that's because pdf2ps generates bitmaps for chars. Try using pdftops from XPdf. |

Tested, fixed. Thanks. |
