Summary0007084: Startup Crash in OS X due to lack of Python
DescriptionIf the user doesn't have python installed in the /Library/Frameworks/ directory, Scribus crashes silently on startup. Some kind of notification would be nice. Also, Scribus specifically looks for /Library/Frameworks/Python.Framework/Versions/2.4/ which means that anyone with 2.5 installed either has to downgrade or make their install masquerade as 2.4 by copying the /2.5/ folder and renaming the copy /2.4/ . This is a bit of an ugly fix, and if the linking is changed to point to /Library/Frameworks/Python.Framework/Versions/Current/, which is linked to the latest version of the framework that is installed, that should fix the problem, as far as I know.

Sorry if this has been reported before!
Steps To ReproduceEither launch Scribus without the /Library/Frameworks/Python.framework library, or with python 2.5.

The latest DMGs I am building should be including the necessary files Scribus needs for this. It has been tested on Tiger/Leopard on PPC/Intel.
