PlatformApple MacBook Pro Intel 2.5GHzOSMacOSXOS VersionLeopard 10.5.5
Product Version1.3.5svn
Summary0007605: Unable to reopen newly created .sla files
DescriptionI opened an old .sla file I made previously with v1.3.2 on Windows a while ago. Opening it went fine except some minor font issues.
I then modified the file and saved it as a new document. After two days I wanted to open exactly the same file, however, I wasn't able to. No error message or whatever, simply nothing.
In the file open dialog, when preview is enabled, the program can recognize that this file was saved with v1.3.5svn.

The end of the story ended luckily - I was able to open the .sla.bak file, otherwise I would have to do all the stuff again.
Steps To Reproduce- open an old 1.3.x Scribus file in 1.3.5svn on MacOSX
- modify it a little bit
- save it as a new document
- close Scribus
- start Scribus and reopen the .sla
Additional InformationGhostscript or any additional package like Fink are not installed.

For some reason in the file open dialog I can see 3 supported types of Scribus files:
- 1.3.4
- 1.3.0->1.3.3.7
- 1.2.x

Maybe there's 1.3.5 missing and some differences to 1.3.4, even when recognized?

Hi, unfortunately I've overwritten the file with the version I was able to open, sorry. The file is gone. :(

The 1.3.4 file loader opens 1.3.5 files too. Are you able to reproduce by taking the original 1.3.2 document?

I always was able to open old files, regardless if taken from Linux or Windows based Scribus. It only happened with a newly created 1.3.5svn file or better, a modified 1.3.2 file, modified and saved with 1.3.5svn.
