Summary | 0007618: Select all doesn't select out of canvas objects
Description | (This is obviously a consequence of fixing bug 4921) When I have only one page, "select all" should select all objects, doesn't it? Let's take one concrete example: I imported a vector image larger than my page. I ungroup it in order to fix some details. I want to select everything and... surprise... only pieces touching the paper are selected... not really the intended behaviour... Maybe the workspace should also be divided into pages so "select all" would select all objects on the page's workspace and not only from the paper sheet...

thats why there is Edit->Advanced Select All |
|
Oh... right... but I would still expect a "normal" select all to select all element on a page (not only the paper) Btw if one page is selected and you place an object outside another page, it's linked to the selected page, not the page next to it, so workspace division into pages may be a useful feature... |

Works with "Advanced Select All", closing consequently |
