Summary0009530: Changing language from Italian to English modifies Fill Color for Text Frame s
DescriptionWhen you set Language >> Italian, the predefined Preferences >> Tools >> Text >> Fill Color and Stroke Color are "Nessuno" (italian translation of "None"), and Text Frames have a transparent fill color. This is OK.
If you change the language back to "English", Preferences >> Tools >> Text >> Fill Color and Stroke Color are shown as "Nessuno", and this is a kind of brown... New Text Frames have a brown Fill Color...
After this change, you see a color named "Nessuno" in the list of colors (Red, Green, ...)
Steps To ReproduceChange Scribus Language to Italian, and check that Preferences >> Tools >> Text >> Fill Color is "Nessuno" (the transparent one). If not, set it.
Change Scribus Language back to English, and you see that Preferences >> Tools >> Text >> Fill Color is named "Nessuno" and it is a kind of Brown

Can you please re-test with 1.39svn? I think this has been fixed.

I tested with the last 1.3.9svn snapshot (scribus-1.3.9svn-101107-snapshot.exe), and the bug hasn't been solved yet.
You see Product Version 1.3.8 in the Issue Details because under Report Issue >> Product version I can only select between
- 1.3.8
- 1.3.7
- 1.3.3.14
- 1.5.0svn
- 1.4 milestone
(using Firefox 3.6.12 and IE 7)

I can confirm, the bug hasn't been solved yet. (Scribus 1.3.9 Hungarian Win)
Steps To Reproduce:
1) Change Scribus Language to any non default.
2) Create new document.
3) See: Edit > Colors --> There is a new brown color with name "None" on default language.

But, after that:
4) Change Scribus language to the default language.
5) See: Edit > Colors --> The new color disappeared.
I hope, this helps.

I can confirm this bug for Poland -> English. Perhaps occurs for all non-english sets.

Mmm, familiar color!

http://bugs.scribus.net/view.php?id=9267 - this bug still not marked as solved.

Same with French. Tested with current 1.3.9 .dmg on Mac OS X 10.6.6
This tends to confirm what cezaryece thinks.
