There is a problem (possibly the character encoding) with the greek translation (el), running scribus on Ubuntu.

Other languages translations show up fine.

My applications font in Gnome was set to "Sans"

I also tried with DejaVu Sans and the Ubuntu font, but no change.

Is there another font I should try?

A similar problem that came up: I cannot write Greek accented characters in scribus-ng.
