Summary0011170: File dialog doesn't keep list of folders in the "sidebar"
DescriptionWhile in the file dialog (Open/Save/etc.), dragging a folder to the "sidebar" on the left allows you to quickly swap between favourite folders. However, once the dialog has been dismissed (either with Cancel or OK) the list of folders reverts back to the default the next time that dialog appears.
Steps To Reproduce1. Create new document.
2. Use menu "File -> Save".
3. Drag any folder onto the sidebar.
4. Click "OK" to save the file.
5. Use menu "File -> Save As…".
6. The folder that was dragged to the sidebar is now missing.
Additional InformationI've reported this as a bug but feel free to reclassify it as a feature request (or whatever else) as you see fit.

I can't find anything in the preferences, help, or wiki about this so it could be some expected default behaviour that I'm not aware of. (I didn't do an exhaustive search, just what I would call basic keywords.)

Is this a bug or am I just using it wrong or missing some basic point?

This is a third party issue specific to OS X in Qt libraries :

https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG-20515

File dialogs are handled almost entirely by Qt. We do not handle much of those dialog ourself. The sidebar is noticeably entirely handled by this library.
