Summary | 0012931: what is the "Feedback" status in Mantis?
Description | historically, it was used for giving feedback AFTER the ticket had been resolved. currently, kunda (and maybe other people) are using it to mark that in a ticket there is a discussion going on. or that the ticket needs a discussion. or ? personally, i'd prefer to keep as "new" tickets that have not been assigned yet, but an official change of meaning for status is also ok... as long as we clean up all the old feedback (if there are any) and it's clear to everyone that the next step after "feedback" is assigned and not closed.

Ale, you are right. I misunderstood what 'feedback' status means. I just read the http://www.mantisbt.org/manual/admin.lifecycle.status.html page again. I think I was confused by how the statuses are displayed on the Scribus Mantis 'Summary' page (http://bugs.scribus.net/summary_page.php). In the screenshot you can see the order where 'Feedback' lives (right after 'New'). Lets re-order it as it was intended to be. In fact, it would be a good opportunity to clean the Bugtracker from obsolete <v1.4 bugs as well. |
