Platform | Scribus 1.4.6 | OS | Windows | OS Version | 10 |
Product Version | 1.4.6 | ||||
Summary | 0014981: Exported PDF Output To File location requires validation if location is different from default .sla/autosave location.
Description | If an exported PDF location is different than the default .sla Save As/autosave location, unless the user fails to select 'change' to verify the Output To File location, Scribus 1.4.6 will default to the .sla Save As/autosave location.
Steps To Reproduce | File > Export > Save As PDF > select 'change' for Output To File.
Additional Information | If the PDF Save As Output To File location is different from the .sla Save As/autosave file location, and a PDF has been previously saved to that file location, then the PDF Output To File location should be the same and not require validation in order to properly save the PDF to that location.

Can a default path for PDF export be included? |
|
i think that in the "preferences > paths" it would be useful to have a (empty by default) pdf export target directory. if it's filled, the first time you export a document, scribus should suggest that directory. if it's empty, scribus should -- as it does now -- suggest the document's directory. if you change directory for the current document, the target path will be retained for the next export. |
