Summary | 0015393: page scrolling all over the place while trying to click on a frame with trackpad
Description | Am trying to design a magazine but getting utterly frustrated since every time I try to click on a frame I created it scrolls all over the place, going from where I click on 1 page to the other side of the page or even end up on a different page all together. Even when I leave my fingers on the same place and just move my hand position a little it moves. Seems like Scribus doesn't respond to the trackpad tracking speed settings in system preferences, since no change I make in there seems to effect it at all, while it does in all other programs I use. Hope this bug will be fixed soon... will really help with my frustration since I am just trying to lean how to use Scribus...

it might be sound obvious, but in the meantime you can use a mouse or tablet... for what it's worth, on my computer on linux i can use the trackpad... and i have seen several people using a macbook with scribus... so, it should indeed be possible to use scribus with a trackpad. let's see if somebody else sees the same problem... |
