Descriptionjcelerier is suggesting to use KDDockWidgets for docking the palettes in scribus:

after 1.6 is released (and the basics of indigo UI is in) we might have a look at it.
i think that if we can get some of the windows to also an horizontal layout (align and distribute?) this could be a good addition to scribus...
