Summary | 0015954: Improve link/unlink tools usability
Description | The link or unlink tools are confusing because when using them, i never now whether it will work as intended. There are several various possible behaviours and it's not possible to guess which one scribus developpers have choosen to code, because the UI doesnt show / give hints about it. 2 possible behaviours are : act on link TO clicked frame /or/ act on link FROM clicked frame. A strong and clear hint would be to highlight what will be done before doing it. E.g. highlight to-be-created-or-deleted link Proposition : - Once link or unlink button is clicked, scribus enters link or unlink mode. - In such a mode, scribus detects on which text frame the mouse cursor hovers and shows which link will be created or destroyed when the user clicks. So as to show which link would be created-or-destroyed, it could simply highlight it. Or mark with some "preview" color . - when user clicks, the highlighted link is created or destroyed for real.
