There is a broken path at line 1226:
copath="Mnan 0 Cnan 0 nan 0 nan 0 Cnan 0 nan 1389.79 nan 1389.79 Cnan 1389.79 nan 1389.79 nan 1389.79 Cnan 1389.79 nan 0 nan 0 Z"
The most simple solution to fix the file is to replace the "copath" value by the content of "path" attribute.

If something like this happens how will we be able to identify the issue?

Not sure. The fact copath value contains nan values, means the path was broken even before saving the file. A path containing NaN values may well trigger quite a few weird behaviors as any processing of such data is basically undefined behavior. Once file is saved, such path data will trigger an infinite loop in path parsing code (FPointArray::parseSVG()) when reloading the doc. So if a file seems stuck when loading, just look for "nan" in "path" or "copath" attributes.

I committed a fix for the infinite loop which occurs in this case.
