Summary | 0016647: Opening a new document (Strg + N / File -> New...) completely discards current document
Description | I was working on a file and wanted to open a second Scribus instance to test something, so I went with "New...". It replaced my whole work with a blank document. No way to undo.
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Edit a document 2. Select "File -> New..."
Additional Information | What actually happened: A blank document replaces the current document. What should have happened: A new Scribus Instance is opened ADDITIONALLY to the current document.

I now discovered that the previous document was not discarded, but remains inaccessible until you close the new window you just opened. This is on Windows 10. |
|
1) Open Document.sla 2) File > New 3) Windows > Path/to/your/Document.sla or 3) Reduce new document window (icon is located below scribus reduce/minimize close buttons) And now you can access first document window. Tested on Windows 10. |
