Summary | 0017057: Hard links of saved .sla[.gz] files
Description | Following up an issue with file synchronisation, I realise that Scribus appears to create .sla and .sla.gz files with a hard link count of 2. I did not find anything in the documentation nor via a Web search. Hence my questions: - What is the path of the other link to the file? - Why have hard links been chosen? - Is there any way to disable hard links on Scribus file creation?

i don't think scribus is creating any kind of links. |
|
In fact I meanwhile established that storing on a local ext4 file system does not show this effect. Anyone happen to know what routine(s) the file saving happens so I can try and debug on the distributed file system in use? |

i don't really understand what you want to test. but you can have a look at ScribusMainWindow::slotFileSave() in scribus.cpp . i'll close this ticket, since your issue seems to have nothing to do with scribus. if you have further questions, you might want to ask in https://forums.scribus.net ... |
